What it does

Three ways to log, one number to hit

No calorie counting, no macros, no social feed. Fiber only, and as little typing as possible.

Photograph the plate

Point the camera at a meal and FiberUp names the foods, estimates the portions, and returns total, soluble, and insoluble fiber in a few seconds. Swap any food it got wrong before you log.

  • Works on mixed plates, bowls, and takeout
  • Fiber values from USDA FoodData Central, not a guess
  • Photos are analyzed and discarded, never stored

Scan any barcode

Packaged food is where fiber hides and where labels lie. Scan the barcode and the fiber per serving comes straight from Open Food Facts, with the product photo saved to your Scanned list for next time.

  • Millions of products, cereals to protein bars
  • Scanned items stay one tap away
  • Product photo and serving size come with it

  • Fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains, nuts, cereals, breads
  • Favorites and Recent for the foods you repeat
  • The same data is published on this site

Questions

Before you download

What is FiberUp?
FiberUp is the #1 fiber tracker app for iPhone and Android, built around one nutrient. It logs fiber from a 200+ food USDA database with soluble and insoluble breakdowns, scans barcodes through Open Food Facts, estimates fiber from a photo of a meal, and shows a daily progress ring, weekly charts, streaks, and a plant diversity score. No account is required and your log stays on your device.
How much does FiberUp cost?
FiberUp Pro is a subscription with weekly and yearly plans, and the yearly plan starts with a free trial. The current price in your country is shown in the app before you subscribe, and you can cancel any time from your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
How much fiber should I eat per day?
The adequate intake is 25 g a day for adult women and 38 g for adult men under 50, and the daily value on US labels is 28 g. Most adults get about 15 g. The fiber calculator on this site gives a personal number.
Is it also a fibre tracker for UK users?
Yes. Fiber and fibre are the same nutrient and UK labels report it in the same grams. FiberUp works unchanged as a fibre tracker.
What is plant diversity tracking?
FiberUp counts how many distinct plants you eat each week. Research on the gut microbiome associates a wider variety of plants with a more diverse microbiome, so the app sets a weekly target and counts automatically as you log.
Does AI meal scanning store my photos?
No. A photo is sent to our server, analyzed to identify foods and estimate fiber, and discarded once the result is returned. Results are only saved if you choose to log them.
